November 13^th   WMPHC Meeting Agenda

Ø Welcome -  Barb & Scott 

o Guests – Barbara introduced Ed a lifetime member of Opa-Opa

o New Members – Mary Ann -  Maryann was unable to make the meeting.

Ø Upcoming Events:

o November 22^nd – 10^th WMPHC Celebration – Maryann & Keith

§ Karen gave update the best she could – collected unsold tickets and checks from club members that were at the meeting.  Will mail Maryann all together.  Looks like we will have a pretty good turn out.  Karen & Rich gave Scott and Barbara – 2 lighted palm trees and a blow-up Margarita glass.

o November 23^rd – Ingleside Holiday Shopping – Maryann & Keith

§ Karen sold 4 more tickets that night to Barbara – will mail unsold tickets and check for 14 sold tickets to Maryanne.

o December 9^th – Brightside Angels at Ingleside Mall – Allie

§ Allie gave quick explanation about BA and info on that night – Tues Dec 9^th, 5-10pm outside Target in the inside of the Ingleside Mall.  She will be there all night with Karen.  Anyone who wishes to stop by to work or buy something is greatly appreciated. 

o December 13^th – Ronald McDonald Wrapping Party – Julie & Josh

§ Josh and Julie were not there but discussed what it was about to new club members.

o Barbara looking for any suggestions of stuff that we might do and handed out Calendars which included the following:

Ø 2009 Maine Convention – Basket – Rich & Karen

o Karen & Richard collected items from Larry & Ann, Joanne & Michael, Scott & Barbara, looking for anything with a local flavor to add to the basket.  Like to try to hit 100 items, so far with what was collected at the meeting we are at 67.

Ø 2010 Convention – OURS –  update on the committees – Karen/ Maryanne

o Maryanne wasn’t at the meeting so Karen gave update and passed around a sample of the convention program.  Discussed Vermont’s possible decision to removing their club from co-hosting due to lack of participation of VT members.  Asked Claire for name on the bank account for the convention, she said that Maryanne has the checks and check book so Karen will get information from Maryanne.

Ø Voting for 2009 WMPHC BOD – hand out – Karen

o Karen handed out ballots and explained that there were not enough members at the meeting to make a quorum in the voting.  She will send out ballots to members who didn’t attend asking for their votes until she gets a quorum she cannot announce who the new officers are.  Target is to get the new board members notified and in place before the Anniversary party on the 22^nd.

o Phun game that everyone enjoyed.
